2. What we collect from homeowners

• Your name, email, phone number and postcode/address.
• Project details: type of work, property size, timing, and any notes you add.
• Technical data: IP, device, browser, and limited analytics cookies.

3. How we use it

• To match your request with one vetted refurbishment Partner who covers your area.
• To share your brief and contact details with that Partner so they can arrange the on-site survey.
• To contact you about the booking, send confirmations, and follow up on your experience.
• To prevent fraud, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases: performance of your request (a pre-contract step you ask us to take), our legitimate interest in running the network safely, and consent where required.

4. Who we share it with

Your contact details and brief are released to one matched Partner per request. We also use vetted processors strictly to operate the service — database & auth (Supabase), email infrastructure, and analytics. We never sell your data and we do not pass it to multiple companies as a "shared lead".

5. How long we keep it

Survey request data: up to 6 years for tax, dispute and quality records. Marketing preferences: until you opt out. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see your rights below.

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing. Email hello@findalocaluk.com to exercise any of these rights. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
