1. About these terms

These terms apply when you, as a UK homeowner, request a refurbishment site survey through findalocaluk.com ("we", "us", "our"). By submitting the survey request form you agree to these terms.

2. What we do

We are an introducer. We pass the brief, contact details and address you provide to one vetted refurbishment company ("Partner") in our network who covers your area and matches your project. The Partner then contacts you to confirm an on-site survey appointment.

3. Free for homeowners

The introduction and the on-site survey are free to you. You are under no obligation to accept any quote or to hire the Partner you meet.

4. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate project, address and contact information.
  • Be available at the agreed appointment time, or give reasonable notice if you need to reschedule.
  • Only submit a request if you genuinely intend to consider the work.

5. Relationship with the Partner

Any quote, contract, payment and the works themselves are solely between you and the Partner. We are not a party to that contract and do not carry out, supervise or warrant the works. Always check the Partner's insurance, references and written quote before signing anything.

6. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the conduct, workmanship, delays, costs or any loss arising from your engagement with a Partner. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

7. Communications

By submitting a request you agree we and the matched Partner may contact you by email, phone or SMS about your survey. You can opt out of non-essential messages at any time by replying STOP or emailing us.

8. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time you submit a request. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
